Fans at Monday's league challenge between the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) and the visiting South Spartans (Torrance, CA), saw North's basketball squad hold off South by a count of 72-66.

With the victory, North upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Saxons host Lawndale (Lawndale, CA) to play the Cardinals in a Pioneer challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Lawndale lost 58-18 in their recent league challenge against West (Torrance, CA)

Next up, the Spartans play the El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Friday, January 27. South will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record.
