Patagonia Lobos (Patagonia, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting San Simon Longhorns (San Simon, AZ), 40-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Patagonia upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Lobos host Phoenix Day School for the Deaf (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Phoenix Day School for the Deaf lost 52-9 in their recent league bout against Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) in a 1A Tucson Southeast bout, on Wednesday, January 25. San Simon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 40-9 non-league win over Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind (Tucson, AZ).
