The Starmont Stars basketball team (Arlington, IA), was overwhelmed 73-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA)
The Pirates now possess a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central City for a Tri-Rivers battle on Friday, January 26. Alburnett will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 61-51 non-league win over Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-9.
The Stars (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 5-6 record.
