In Tuesday's league outing, the Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA), by a margin of 78-24.
The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Central City (Central City, IA). The Wildcats go into the Tri-Rivers outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Central City was trounced by North Linn (Troy Mills, IA), 68-20, in a league outing.
The Stars now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Springville for a Tri-Rivers outing on Friday, December 15.
