Oklahoma High School Basketball - Altus ripped by Elgin

The Elgin Owls basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Altus Bulldogs to 35 in the Owls league triumph on Tuesday.
The Owls now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shawnee for a 5A District 1 contest on Friday, January 26. Elgin will meet a Wolves team coming off a 57-54 league loss to Guthrie (Guthrie, OK). The Wolves record now stands at 6-9.
The Bulldogs (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Indians enter the 5A District 1 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, El Reno was routed by Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK), 75-57, in a league contest.
