The University Academy Charter Generals basketball team (Jersey City, NJ), was overwhelmed 64-24 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Beloved Community Charter Owls (Jersey City, NJ)
The Owls now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Grove for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 25. Beloved Community Charter will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-27 league win over Eagle Academy (Newark, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.
The Generals (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ). The Redwings come into the Hudson County - National battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Hoboken trounced Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ), 49-21, in a non-league battle.
