The McEwen Warriors basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Big Sandy Red Devils to 28 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKenzie for a 1A District 12 contest on Friday, January 26.

The Red Devils (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Houston County (Erin, TN). The Fighting Irish enter the 1A District 12 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Houston County triumphed over Waverly Central (Waverly, TN), 63-36, in a non-league contest.
