Nebraska High School Basketball - Burwell overwhelms Palmer

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) and the visiting Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE), saw Burwell's basketball squad wallop Palmer by a tally of 56-29.

With the victory, Burwell improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE) to confront the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Arcadia/Loup City lost 48-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverside (Cedar Rapids, NE)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Riverside Chargers (Cedar Rapids, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 48-39 non-league win over Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE).
