Georgia High School Basketball - Rome can't hold off Carrollton

The Carrollton Trojans basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Rome Wolves to 55 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Coweta for a AAAAAAA Region 2 contest on Thursday, January 25. Carrollton will battle a Indians team coming off a 80-72 league win over Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Indians record now stands at 10-8.
The Wolves (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Eagles come into the AAAAAA Region 6 contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Etowah edged Creekview (Canton, GA), 65-43, in a league contest.
