The Cedar Creek Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Ouachita Christian Eagles to 61 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Prep for a 1A District 2 contest on Friday, January 26. Cedar Creek will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-41 league win over St. Frederick (Monroe, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-7.

The Eagles (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against St. Frederick (Monroe, LA). The Warriors come into the 1A District 2 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, St. Frederick was nudged by Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA), 58-41, in a league contest.
