The Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA), 72-53 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (12-15) will now prepare for their test against St. Frederick (Monroe, LA). The Warriors go into the 1A District 2 test with a 11-12 record. In their last test, St. Frederick went down by Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA), 64-60, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Lincoln Prep for a 1A District 2 test on Tuesday, February 6. Cedar Creek will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 64-60 league win over St. Frederick (Monroe, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 15-7.
