Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA), 65-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Danville upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Ironmen host Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA) to play the Green Dragons in a Heartland II bout on Friday, January 26. The Green Dragons come into the bout with a record of 5-8. Lewisburg lost 61-50 in their recent non-league bout against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA) in a Heartland II bout, on Friday, January 26. Midd-West will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 58-55 league win over Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA).
