Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA), 54-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Danville upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Ironmen travel to Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA) to play the Green Dragons in a Heartland II bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Green Dragons go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Lewisburg won 64-46 in their recent non-league bout against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA) in a Heartland II bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Midd-West will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 83-47 non-league loss to Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA).
