Virginia High School Basketball - Parry McCluer trounces Eastern Montgomery

The Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) basketball crushed the host Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), 68-38 in Tuesday's league contest.

The Fighting Blues now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a Pioneer contest on Thursday, January 25. Parry McCluer will battle a Rams team coming off a 52-36 league win over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Rams record now stands at 3-5.

The Mustangs (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Green Waves enter the Pioneer contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Narrows triumphed over Craig County (New Castle, VA), 83-28, in a league contest.
