Arizona High School Basketball - Phoenix Christian fells Highland Prep

Phoenix Christian Cougars (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ), 48-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Phoenix Christian upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Cougars host Highland Prep (Surprise, AZ) to clash with the Honey Badgers in a 2A Central bout on Friday, January 26. The Honey Badgers go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Highland Prep won 89-29 in their recent league bout against Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ)

Next up, the Honey Badgers clash with the Mountainside Wolves (Wittmann, AZ) in a 2A Central bout, on Thursday, January 25. Highland Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record.
