Alabama High School Basketball - Vestavia Hills knocked off by Hoover

The Hoover Buccaneers basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Vestavia Hills Rebels to 51 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuscaloosa County for a 7A Area 5 contest on Friday, January 26. Hoover will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 50-36 league loss to Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-13.
The Rebels (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Warriors enter the 7A Area 5 contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Thompson ran past Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL), 50-36, in a league contest.
