The Wayzata Trojans basketball team (Plymouth, MN), was toppled 80-69 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN)
The Royals now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Michael-Albertville for a non-league battle on Friday, January 26. Hopkins will confront a Knights team coming off a 57-41 non-league loss to Edina (Edina, MN). The Knights record now stands at 8-7.
The Trojans (14-1) will now prepare for their battle against Washburn (Minneapolis, MN). The Millers come into the AAAA Section 6 battle with a 15-1 record. In their last battle, Washburn beat North Community (Minneapolis, MN), 66-55, in a non-league battle.
