Minnesota High School Basketball - Hopkins tipped by Wayzata

The Wayzata Trojans basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Hopkins Royals to 70 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 22-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong for a AAAA Section 6 contest on Tuesday, February 20. Wayzata will meet a Falcons team coming off a 73-68 non-league loss to Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 14-9.
The Royals (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, St. Michael-Albertville nudged Edina (Edina, MN), 60-59, in a non-league contest.
