The Johnston Dragons basketball team (Johnston, IA), was nudged 58-52 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Valley Tigers (Elgin, IA)
The Tigers now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 27. Valley will battle a Cougars team coming off a 85-30 league win over Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 15-0.
The Dragons (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Iowa City (Iowa City, IA). The Little Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 5-15 record.
