Mississippi High School Basketball - Park Place Christian Academy topped by Lamar

The Lamar Raiders basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders to 41 in the Raiders league victory on Tuesday.
The Raiders now sport a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meridian HomeSchool for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Lamar will battle a FLYERS team coming off a 62-30 non-league loss to Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool (Lake Charles, LA). The FLYERS record now stands at 0-4.
The Crusaders (14-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS). The Jaguars come into the MAIS 5A District 2 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Wayne Academy prevailed over East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS), 56-19, in a league contest.
