The Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders basketball team (Pearl, MS), was nudged 59-53 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS)
The Raiders now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 9.
The Crusaders (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Leake Academy (Madden, MS). The Rebels come into the MAIS 5A District 2 battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Leake Academy was nudged by Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 61-59, in a league battle.
