The LeRoy Panthers basketball team (LeRoy, IL), was overwhelmed 69-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL)
The Turks now possess a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eureka for a Heart of Illinois battle on Friday, January 26. Tremont will confront a Hornets team coming off a 50-48 league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 9-12.
The Panthers (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgeview (Colfax, IL). The Mustangs come into the Heart of Illinois battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Ridgeview trounced Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL), 57-18, in a non-league battle.
