Arkansas High School Basketball - Paragould overwhelmed by Marion

The Marion Patriots basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Paragould Rams to 30 in the Patriots league victory on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley View for a 5A East contest on Friday, January 26. Marion will battle a Blazers team coming off a 53-44 league loss to Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR). The Blazers record now stands at 12-8.
The Rams (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against West Memphis (West Memphis, AR). The Blue Devils come into the 5A East contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, West Memphis triumphed over Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR), 56-53, in a league contest.
