Arkansas High School Basketball - Paragould overwhelmed by Marion

The Marion Patriots basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the host Paragould Rams to 24 in the Patriots league victory on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley View for a 5A East contest on Friday, February 23. Marion will battle a Blazers team coming off a 80-57 league loss to Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR). The Blazers record now stands at 19-9.
The Rams (10-19) will now prepare for their contest against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Golden Eagles come into the 5A East contest with a 15-17 record. In their last contest, Greene County Tech triumphed over West Memphis (West Memphis, AR), 63-55, in a league contest.
