With the victory, Marshall upgrades its record to 8-15 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Longview (Longview, TX) to play the Lobos in a 5A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, January 26. The Lobos come into the bout with a record of 24-3. Longview won 78-49 in their recent league bout against Pine Tree (Longview, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Whitehouse Wildcats (Whitehouse, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 bout, on Friday, January 26. Texas will attempt to upgrade on its 11-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 6-17 record after their 52-35 league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX).
