Texas High School Basketball - Martin can't hold off South Grand Prairie

The South Grand Prairie Warriors basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Martin Warriors to 64 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 23-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sam Houston for a 6A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, January 26. South Grand Prairie will battle a Texans team coming off a 53-44 league loss to Bowie (Arlington, TX). The Texans record now stands at 4-21.
The Warriors (12-15) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar (Arlington, TX). The Vikings enter the 6A Region I District 8 contest with a 9-16 record. In their last contest, Lamar was nudged by Haltom (Haltom City, TX), 67-42, in a league contest.
