The West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) basketball knocked off the host Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN), 68-59 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record.
The Dutchmen now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Albany for a AA Section 6 test on Friday, January 26. Melrose will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 81-27 league win over Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 13-2.
