The Mt. Abraham Eagles basketball team (Bristol, VT), dropped 47-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT)

The Thunderbirds now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vergennes for a Lake battle on Friday, January 26. Missisquoi Valley will battle a Commodores team coming off a 56-27 non-league win over Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT). The Commodores record now stands at 8-3.

The Eagles (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Tigers come into the Southern Vermont - A battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Middlebury prevailed over Milton (Milton, VT), 63-52, in a non-league battle.
