In Tuesday's league outing, the Montgomery Central Indians (Cunningham, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Sycamore War Eagles (Pleasant View, TN), by a count of 45-42.

The Indians (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Fairview (Fairview, TN). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league outing with a 3-14 record.

The War Eagles now hold a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Creek Wood for a 3A District 11 outing on Friday, January 26.
