Tennessee High School Basketball - Sycamore tops Montgomery Central

February 2, 2024: Pleasant View, TN 37146

Sycamore War Eagles (Pleasant View, TN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Montgomery Central Indians (Cunningham, TN), 59-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sycamore upgrades its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The War Eagles host Creek Wood (Charlotte, TN) to play the Red Hawks in a 3A District 11 bout on Monday, February 5. The Red Hawks come into the bout with a record of 11-6.

Next up, the Indians play the Waverly Central Tigers (Waverly, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Montgomery Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record.
