Georgia High School Basketball - New Hampstead thwarts Southeast Bulloch

The New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA), 49-41 in Tuesday's league test.
The Phoenix (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Wayne County (Jesup, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the AAAA Region 3 test with a 4-16 record. In their last test, Wayne County went down by Burke County (Waynesboro, GA), 76-58, in a league test.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Islands for a AAAA Region 3 test on Friday, January 26. Southeast Bulloch will encounter a Sharks squad coming off a 79-51 league loss to Benedictine (Savannah, GA). The Sharks record now stands at 6-10.
