Oregon High School Basketball - Union knocked off by Nixyaawii Community

The Nixyaawii Community Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Union Bobcats to 54 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Griswold for a 1A Old Oregon contest on Friday, January 26. Nixyaawii Community will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 53-28 league loss to Elgin (Elgin, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-9.
The Bobcats (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Elgin, OR). The Huskies enter the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Elgin ran past Griswold (Helix, OR), 53-28, in a league contest.
