In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Shepherd Pirates basketball team scored a good 77-63 triumph over the Onalaska Wildcats.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 match, on Friday, January 26. Shepherd will attempt to move on its 16-12 season record. The Longhorns enter the match with a 19-10 record after their 64-45 league win over Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX).
