In Friday's league match, the visiting Onalaska Wildcats basketball team scored a good 69-59 triumph over the Shepherd Pirates.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 match, on Tuesday, December 19. Onalaska will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 9-5 record after their 46-43 league loss to New Waverly (New Waverly, TX).

With the defeat, Shepherd moves to 7-9 on the year. The Pirates travel to Tarkington (Cleveland, TX) to meet the Longhorns in a 3A Region III District 23 match on Tuesday, December 19.
