The South Lamar Stallions basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Pickens County Tornadoes to 45 in the Stallions league victory on Tuesday.
The Stallions now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickens County for a 1A Area 9 contest on Wednesday, January 24. South Lamar will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 52-45 league loss to South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-7.
The Tornadoes (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Stallions come into the 1A Area 9 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, South Lamar edged Pickens County (Reform, AL), 52-45, in a league contest.
