Alabama High School Basketball - South Lamar knocked off by Pickens County

The Pickens County Tornadoes basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting South Lamar Stallions to 43 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tornadoes now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gordo for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Pickens County will battle a Green Wave team coming off a 64-49 league loss to Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Green Wave record now stands at 3-9.

The Stallions (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-14 record.
