Rotan Yellowhammers (Rotan, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rule Bobcats (Rule, TX), 49-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Rotan upgrades its record to 12-15 on the season. The Yellowhammers travel to Knox City (Knox City, TX) to clash with the Greyhounds in a 1A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, January 26. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 21-2. Knox City won 72-47 in their recent league bout against Lueders-Avoca (Avoca, TX)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Roby Lions (Roby, TX) in a 1A Region II District 15 bout, on Friday, January 26. Rule will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 70-27 league win over Rotan (Rotan, TX).
