The Rotan Yellowhammers (Rotan, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Rule Bobcats (Rule, TX), 59-26 in Friday's league test.

The Yellowhammers (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Knox City (Knox City, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 1A Region II District 15 test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Knox City walloped Lueders-Avoca (Avoca, TX), 79-22, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Roby for a 1A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, January 2. Rule will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 67-48 non-league loss to Paducah (Paducah, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.
