New Mexico High School Basketball - Pojoaque Valley knocked off by Espanola Valley

The Espanola Valley Sundevils basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 49 in the Sundevils non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sundevils now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moriarty for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Espanola Valley will meet a Pintos team coming off a 57-47 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 2-5.
The Elks/Elkettes (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Taos ran past Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM), 55-30, in a non-league contest.
