The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes basketball team (Pojoaque, NM), was nudged 53-49 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM)
The Sundevils now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moriarty for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 15. Espanola Valley will confront a Pintos team coming off a 41-29 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 3-9.
The Elks/Elkettes (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record.
