In Tuesday's league outing, the Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ), by a count of 53-37.
The Blue Devils (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Ridgers go into the Super Essex - Liberty outing with a 11-2 record.
The Panthers now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Montclair Kimberley Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 25. Cedar Grove will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 42-29 non-league win over Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.
