New Jersey High School Basketball - Central tops Cedar Grove

Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) and the host Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ), saw Central's basketball team achieve victory over Cedar Grove by a tally of 56-36.

The Blue Devils now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glen Ridge for a Super Essex - Liberty battle on Thursday, December 21. Central will battle a Ridgers team coming off a 50-33 non-league win over Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 3-0.

The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, East Orange Campus dropped by West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ), 46-21, in a league test.
