North Carolina High School Basketball - Pine Lake Prep overwhelmed by Christ the King

The Pine Lake Prep Pride basketball team (Mooresville, NC), was overwhelmed 53-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC)

The Crusaders now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Island Charter for a non-league battle on Friday, January 26. Christ the King will confront a Raptor team coming off a 66-15 non-league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Raptor record now stands at 5-9.

The Pride (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Bears come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Bradford Prep was overwhelmed by Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 45-30, in a non-league battle.
