North Carolina High School Basketball - Pine Lake Prep nips Christ the King

December 8, 2023: Mooresville, NC 28115

Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC), 59-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pine Lake Prep upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Pride travel to Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-7. Central Academy lost 67-23 in their recent non-league bout against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Christ the King will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Raptor come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 61-12 non-league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC).
