With the victory, Del Valle improves its record to 13-15 on the campaign. The Conquistadores host Parkland (El Paso, TX) to confront the Matadors in a 5A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, January 26. The Matadors come into the battle with a record of 4-19. Parkland lost 38-35 in their recent league battle against Ysleta (El Paso, TX)

The Scorpions (4-20) will now prepare for their battle against Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Knights come into the 5A Region I District 2 battle with a 18-11 record. In their last battle, Hanks trounced Bel Air (El Paso, TX), 65-39, in a league battle.
