The Oelwein Huskies basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Wapsie Valley Warriors to 37 in the Huskies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dike-New Hartford for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Friday, January 26. Oelwein will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 57-33 non-league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 14-1.

The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crestwood (Cresco, IA). The Cadets enter the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Crestwood triumphed over Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA), 68-43, in a non-league contest.
