The Wapsie Valley Warriors basketball team (Fairbank, IA), dropped 68-48 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA)
The Huskies now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denver for a North Iowa Cedar - East battle on Tuesday, December 19. Oelwein will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 61-44 league win over Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 4-3.
The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Osage (Osage, IA). The Green Devils come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Osage beat Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA), 59-42, in a non-league battle.
