With the victory, Carroll County improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Glenvar (Salem, VA) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Cougars confront the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Alleghany will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record.
