North Carolina High School Basketball - Broughton can't hold off Cardinal Gibbons

The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Broughton Capitals to 35 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens Drive for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26.
The Capitals (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Knightdale was nudged by Rolesville (Rolesville, NC), 31-25, in a league contest.
