Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC), 37-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cardinal Gibbons upgrades its record to 14-0 on the season. The Crusaders host Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC) to play the Pride in a bout on Friday, February 9. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Leesville Road lost 39-30 in their recent non-league bout against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC)

Next up, the Capitals play the Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) in a bout, on Friday, February 9. Broughton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 31-28 non-league loss to Enloe (Raleigh, NC).
